Short and plain.

What we collect

When you sign up we collect what you type into the form: your name, email, where you live, your skills, the hours you can give, the pillar you want to help with, and a link to your résumé if you choose to give one. If you tick the box, we also use your email address to send you updates.

How we use it

• Only Alvin and Rina read your sign-up and any résumé link you give. We use them to work out how you can help.
• Your résumé link and contact details are never published and never shown on any Hero Board.
• We show your name on a Hero Board and in the running strip only if you tick Show me on the Hero Board. If you also tick Keep me anonymous, only what you are willing to do is shown, with no name.
• We do not sell or give your details to anyone.

Emails

We only email updates if you ticked the box. Every email will have an unsubscribe link and our postal address.

The free checklist and email list

If you ask for the free checklist on the Join page, we collect your email address, and your first name if you give it. We only add you to our email list if you tick the consent box. It is never pre-ticked.

We use your email to send you the checklist and a short series of emails about My-E-Brand, including a link to our fundraising page and, once, an optional product you can ignore. After that we email only when there is real news.

Every email has an unsubscribe link and our contact details. When you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you straight away. You can also email Alvin.VanAs@My-E-Brand.com to be removed or to have your details deleted.

Your email is held by our email service provider, MailerLite. We do not sell or give your details to anyone else.

Taking your details back

You can ask us at any time to remove you from a Hero Board or the strip, or to delete your details. Use the sign-up page and say so.
